Building Resilience Project
Building Resilience Workshops – ‘Bend don’t Break’. A resilience programme delivered in school over 10 weeks with 12 months follow up support to build on a range of skills including: problem solving, awareness of strengths and qualities, resourcefulness, setting and achieving goals, managing emotions, taking control of your future. Currently working with 20 schools throughout Central Bedfordshire.

Art’s & Culture Project
An opportunity to introduce young people to a variety of arts and culture-based activities to those who might not otherwise have the opportunity. Includes creative arts chosen by young people, professional demos, trips and the opportunity to complete the Arts Award! Delivered as an ‘after school’ activity aimed at young people aged 11-16.
Some arts activities and visits undertaken so far:
• Working with wood: One session assembling wooden puppets for Halloween, and painting coupled with mask painting.
• Engraving on wood (burning) - battery powered pen on blank wood tiles.
• Mandala clay and painting
• Film making
• Silk screen painting
One group enjoyed a visit to Milton Keynes theatre to see
