Supporting young people into education, employment and training
4YP are funded by Central Bedfordshire Council to support young people aged 16 - 19 into education, employment and training.
A 4YP Adviser can help and support young people with
• A CV or job application form
• Professional Careers Advice
• Interview preparation
• Finding suitable training
• Financial support to access college or training
• Finding voluntary work or a work placement
• Childcare so that you can access work/training
Or with other things which may be getting in the way of a young person’s ability to move into education, employment or training such as
• Emotional issues
• Drug/alcohol abuse
• Sexual health advice
Young people can expect to be better able to make informed decisions affecting their future, to develop a wide range of job hunting skills, to be better placed to re-engage in education and in some cases improve their self-confidence, self-esteem and life skills.

if you are still at school or college ask for a careers interview there, your school or college should provide independent, impartial Careers Advice.
4YP have Careers Advisers working in the following schools:
Manshead, Van Dyke, Queensbury, All Saints, Priory, Academy of Central Bedfordshire, Samuel Whitbread and Stratton.
